Eleven
quiet
years.
Two artists. Three chairs. No signage. That’s how we opened — and that’s still how it feels to walk in.
Three things
we won’t bend on.
Restraint
We add only what the piece needs. Everything else is removed before the needle touches skin.
Time
A piece is ready when the artist says it is. We book one client per chair per day for a reason.
Safety
Single-use everything, sterilised hand pieces, vegan pigments, certified since day one.
The slow way,
on purpose.
Inkline opened in 2014 in a converted second-floor flat above a bakery in Berlin. Two artists, three chairs, no signage.
Eleven years on, we’re still on the second floor — just with a few more chairs and a quieter waiting room.
We never trained for the studio model that came out of the 90s. We trained for portraiture, for printmaking, for the patience required to draw the same line a hundred times until it stops being a line and becomes the only line.
